Why BIC Lighters Are One of the Best Margin Products for Retailers

BIC lighters are a classic impulse purchase found at every checkout, tobacco shop and gas station.

J26 Maxi vs. J25 Mini

The J26 Maxi delivers up to 3,000 flames, while the compact J25 Mini offers around 2,200. Both are child-resistant and EN13869 compliant.

Packaging

Lighters come in trays of 50 and cartons of 1,000. A 20ft container holds roughly 63,000–65,000 lighters.

Why Margins Are So Strong

Lighters never expire, are small to store and sell daily. Retailers routinely see 40%+ gross margins.
